What's Changing: New Member Orientation Courses

Spread the word that this January, TRREB is expanding its New Member Orientation (NMO) with a new Part 4 on Professionalism, Ethics, and Compliance. Keep in mind that the NMO applies only to new Members or Members returning after an absence of two-years or longer.

New Year's Resolution: Advancing Skills with TRREB Courses

Let your agents know about the new three-day, hands-on MLS® Mastery courses, helping REALTORS® navigate REALM™ or Matrix. Encourage your brokerage to sign up for the session on REALM™ or the session on Matrix. You also need to share the Real Estate Law Fundamentals course that will help Members grow their understanding about bidding wars, condominium status certificates, residential tenancies, and real estate agreements. Remember to share these courses at your next brokerage meeting.

No-Show Fee for New Member Orientation Sessions

Remind new Members at your brokerage that in January, TRREB is implementing a no-show fee of $50 for those who register for a New Member Orientation Session and do not attend. After closely reviewing and comparing our registration stats with the attendance rates, we discovered a high number of no-shows without a cancellation notification to TRREB.
