New Mortgage Stress Test Rules Coming
Our call to lift the mortgage stress test on uninsured borrowers at renewal is coming. This change, expected in November, is one we have long called for and will also make it easier for borrowers with uninsured mortgages to move to a different lender at renewal with better access to competitive rates.
