NEW: Existing Coverage
If you have existing coverage and are worried about the ORWP's potential impact, you can share the details of your provider's current policy with ProgramAdministrator@orwp.ca. The dedicated benefits team and program insurers will review your situation carefully. Any information shared with them is handled with complete confidentiality. If they determine your coverage is negatively impacted, you will be placed on 'Accommodation' for the ORWP benefit that is impacting your other coverage. This means you will be removed from the ORWP healthcare coverage, but you will still receive all other benefits under the ORWP, like virtual healthcare, Life, AD&D, Critical Illness, and Travel Insurance. You will still need to pay your full OREA dues, which will also cover the cost of the ORWP, but your enrollment in the impacted benefit will be removed so you don't lose your other coverage.
Take the TRREB ORWP Survey Tomorrow
On Tuesday, November 21, we will share a survey that will run until noon on Monday, November 27, where you can let us know your thoughts on the ORWP. To ensure we hear from every TRREB Member, the survey will automatically pop up when you access TorontoMLS.net before you can proceed to the Home Page. We will send all Members reminders by email to complete the survey.

Life Insurance
At TRREB and OREA, we want to give you peace-of-mind coverage – you don't need to worry about insurance only when you absolutely need it. The REALTOR® Wellness Task Force has negotiated a seamless transition to the new Ontario Wellness Program (ORWP) that will ensure you're always covered.
As a TRREB Member, you currently have $30,000 in life insurance, the ORWP boosts this figure, guaranteeing a minimum coverage of $50,000 for every Member. And for those under 65 you're looking at coverage that stretches to $100,000.
