Artificial Intelligence (AI) is quickly evolving and changing the way we conduct our day-to-day activities. Sean Provencher, Founder and CEO of Endgame Coaching, joins TRREB’s Chief Market Analyst Jason Mercer on the latest episode of TRREB’s Ready to Real Estate podcast to discuss the role of AI and its future in real estate.

How to Use AI to Streamline Your Business

The evolution of AI is moving faster than we could have thought it would. REALTORS® can use AI to help them generate content for their social media channels, write listing descriptions, edit videos, and even convert one form of media to another.

Sean says, “If we start using more tools to help us add our voice and perspective to the content we’re creating and then use it to create different types of media, we’ll reach a wider audience and deliver more value.”

Using AI in Your Business

AI is only as good as the information you provide it. Sean recommends using a rule of thumb called the 10-80-10 rule.

The first 10 per cent of the process is you providing the AI bot the information it needs, using your voice and telling it what to do. AI will then do 80 per cent of the work for you based on what you provided. Once you have the AI-generated content, you will spend the last 10 per cent of the process editing the content it generates to ensure it is correct and provides value for your consumers.

Where Is AI Headed in Real Estate?

Sean predicts that in the future, REALTORS® can use AI as a property valuation tool. A REALTOR® could walk through a home and point a camera at various features in the home, then AI can assess those details. It could then cross reference with comparable properties and market trends to provide an accurate, data-driven estimate.

When used effectively, AI can help you cut down the amount of time spent on creating content and more time spent delivering human connection to your business. “I discovered that I was able to use AI to do a lot of my time-consuming tasks, giving me more face time with my clients and letting me produce more and deliver at a higher level because I wasn’t spending my time doing those tasks,” Sean explains.
