Elechia Barry-Sproule, President-Elect, has enjoyed her career in real estate for almost 22 years. She has worked at many levels of real estate, including Sales Representative, Broker/Manager and Broker of Record, and is currently loving her new role as Broker/Owner at Red Apple Real Estate Inc., Brokerage.

Red Apple Real Estate is an amazing company which is growing into York Region, Simcoe County and Kawartha Lakes with the head office in Newmarket, Ontario.

Elechia has always taken an active approach in dealing with the challenges and opportunities faced by our profession. She enjoys teaching, training, coaching and mentoring many of her real estate team members and looks forward to sharing her knowledge and expertise as TRREB’s Director-at-Large.

When she is not working, Elechia is helping others in her community with her Let’s Keep it Brief Campaign, where together with the community she collects donations of socks, undergarments and outerwear to assist our homeless during the winter weather.

Manny Andrade, Director-at-Large, has enjoyed his career in the real estate profession for 35+ years. He has worked in various capacities of real estate including Sales Representative, Broker, and currently, the Broker of Record at Royal LePage Supreme Realty, Brokerage (formerly, HomeLife Galleria, Realty Inc), which has been serving the community (the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas) for over 28 years.  Outside of his professional life, Manny has served on the Board of Directors for the Federation of Portuguese Canadian and Business Professionals, a non-profit organization aimed at fostering business and community development in Canada and Portugal. In this role, Manny has contributed to various organizational events that involve distributing scholarships awarded to students and budding professionals in the Portuguese community. Most recently, Manny has served as the Vice Chair of the Arbitration Committee, and a member of the Professional Standards Steering Committee and Task Force. Raymond Chan, Director-at-Large, is an Owner/Broker at Warwick Realty Group Inc., Brokerage specializing in GTA investment sales with a focus on healthcare. Prior to founding Warwick Realty Group in 2019, Ray was a commercial real estate broker at CBRE on the capital markets team working with private investors in the hotel and retail space. Before making the switch to a full-time Brokerage, Ray spent over 10 years at TD Bank where he held progressively senior positions at TD Waterhouse in Options Trading, TD Commercial Banking as a Real Estate Analyst and at TD Securities in Real Estate Risk Management.

Raymond earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) Degree from Warwick Business School and an Honours Bachelor of Arts (Hons BA) Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. At Humber College, Ray facilitates the Commercial Real Estate Transactions Course and is also a member of their Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) for Real Estate Education. In addition, he teaches the Introduction to a Career in Commercial Real Estate Seminar at TRREB. Alexandra Cote, Director-at-Large, has been an active REALTOR® since 2014 and currently leads The Fox Team as “Head Fox” at Real Broker Ontario, Ltd. Alex has always made volunteering a priority in her career, having served the past 8 years consecutively on various TRREB bodies including Government Relations, Affordable Housing, Governance & By-Law, YPN, and the Climate-Risk Sub-Committee of the GRC, which she has Chaired since its inception in 2020. 

Alexandra is also active in her community, having served 3 years as her condo board President prior to joining the Parkdale Community Food Bank Board of Directors in 2018, where she currently serves as Vice-Chair. In 2020, Alex was awarded TRREB’s Community Service Award for this work.

Peter Geibel was originally licensed in 2004 at the age of 24, completing his broker designation two years later. Peter also engaged in property redevelopment having restored, redesigned and rehabilitated multiple properties in the Historic Newmarket District, alongside the extensive area redevelopment in what is now regarded as one of the finest Main Street’s in Canada, with a focus on historical and century home properties. He was also a multi-residential landlord up to last year when the property was finally sold, offering a real insight into the home and housing challenges facing many people in Ontario and Canada as a whole. Rebecca Kopel, Central Regional Director, Is a Broker with Royal LePage Signature Realty. Rebecca has been a full-time Realtor since 2014 when she joined her husband as his business partner. She is a second-generation, award-winning Realtor who has a passion for improving professionalism in the industry.

Rebecca loves to volunteer with non-profits and charities. She has been on the Board of Directors at the York Region Food Network (YRFN) for over 12 years, 10 of which she was Board Chair. She also held the role of Vice Chair. She served on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Bruce Trail Club as the Volunteer Coordinator. She volunteered for the Fill a Purse for a Sister campaign where she was a Community Lead. She has been on the Land Management Committee at the Bruce Trail Conservancy. She even writes cat profiles for Team Cat Rescue. In between these roles she runs ad hoc food drives and recently, a medical supplies drive for the people of Ukraine.

Daniel Steinfeld, Director-at-Large is an engaged and active member of the real estate community as a broker-owner of On The Block, a Vaughan brokerage focused on innovation and professionalism in the industry. He and his wife Katie co-founded ‘Level Up’, a well-known real estate community and podcast that aired over 200 episodes for the REALTOR® community. Daniel is currently the Chair of the Government Relations Committee and TRESA Subcommittee, as well as Vice-Chair of the Finance Committee. He also has been an active member of the OREA TRESA Task Force, the TRREB REALTOR QUEST subcommittee and the YPN Committee.

Daniel has considerable experience in the industry, with a background rooted in finance and sales. He was the Chief Financial Officer and the Vice President of Sales for the Toronto Argonauts Football Club, leading the highest-grossing single-day event in Canadian history with the 100th Grey Cup. He is a chartered accountant, a frequent speaker at conferences and lectures, and has trained some of the largest sales teams in the country.

Volunteering has always been her focus in order to give back to her community and to the industry. Georgiana has served on the TRREB’s Professional Standards Committee for 10 year as well as two years on the Professional Standards Appeal Committee. She also believes in the power of networking.

For over 15 years, Georgiana has created events for large groups of REATORS® to come together to learn, share and network together. Her belief is that when we learn and share information with each other, we raise the level of professionalism in the industry.

Georgiana has contributed to communities by organizing many clothing drives for Juliette’s Place and Interval House women’s shelters as well as providing new Canadian moms and their young families with much-needed clothing and baby items. Georgiana and her colleagues from various different real estate Brokerages have rallied together on many occasions to raise substantial funds for Make-A-Wish® Canada (Kids for Cancer).
