David Rossi Committee Service Awards
Named in honour of longtime TRREB Committee Volunteer and Honourary Life Member David Rossi, this award recognizes the lasting impact of his dedication to TRREB and the real estate profession. This year, TRREB recognized three remarkable Members for their selfless service and positive impact.
Committee Volunteer: TRREB’s Government Relations Committee

Nita Kang
Nita is a dedicated and influential member of the Government Relations Committee, consistently offering thoughtful, solutions-focused perspectives that enrich our policy work, guide our advocacy, and elevate the voice of REALTORS® at every level of government. Nita is also active in politics and currently pursuing elected office.
Committee Volunteer: TRREB’s Finance Committee

Laura Baragetti
Laura began her TRREB service on the 2013/2014 Member Communications Committee, serving until 2016. She joined the Finance Committee in 2023 and is now completing her three-year term. Throughout her tenure, she has been a strong contributor, providing analytical insight that supports fiscally responsible decisions for TRREB’s long-term goals.

David Worthington
David has served as Vice-Chair of TRREB’s Arbitration and Professional Standards Steering Committee and contributed to the Professional Development Committee as well. He brings a solid understanding of Professional Standards and approaches decisions with fairness and integrity.
Community Service Awards
This year, the Communications & Member Engagement Committee and the TRREB Board of Directors selected five outstanding Members who have dedicated countless hours to creating positive change. These awards recognize TRREB Members who are committed to improving their communities and serving others.
Ontario REALTORS® Care Foundation

Brian Walker
Brian held the position of president at the Ontario Real Estate Association. He has played a key role in organizing and performing at numerous Jam with the Past President events supporting the Ontario REALTORS® Care Foundation (ORCF). Most recently, he and his band performed at the Council of Multiple Listing Services event, helping raise essential funds for the ORCF.
Charity Team Lead

David Elfassy
David inspires his team to support meaningful causes. He actively contributes to organizations such as the Vaughan Food Bank, Mackenzie Health Foundation, SickKids Foundation, and the Jewish Community Centre. David takes a hands-on approach to all his charitable efforts, consistently immersing himself in this work.
Parent Council Chair at William Berczy Public School

Betty Liu
Betty has served as Parent Council Chair at William Berczy Public School, an Executive Council Member at Unionville Public School, and a volunteer with the York Region School Board Asian Program, North Star Special Needs Society, and Skylark Foundation. A devoted mother of two children with autism, she is a compassionate advocate and valuable resource for families on similar journeys.
Volunteer and Fundraiser at The Dam and The Compass Food Bank

Brian Khatambakhsh
Brian supports The Dam Youth Outreach and The Compass Food Bank by donating a portion of his income from every home sale and organizing fundraising events such as community barbecues, food drives, and fun fairs. His dedication exemplifies how communities grow stronger when people come together.
Fundraiser at Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation

Adolphe Khouri
Adolphe supports cancer initiatives at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation through various fundraising activities and charity events, raising approximately $25,000 in recent years. He also participates in charity lunches and dinners to raise awareness on important issues, including AIDS, contributing to the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research and other initiatives. Through these efforts, Adolphe demonstrates how real estate professionals can make an impact beyond the industry.
